A Native Arizonan, Nicole McCaigue lives in Chandler, with her husband and two children, where she works in a sunny studio surrounded by love. Nature is an integral part of Nicole's life. She spent her childhood exploring the untouched desert that surrounded her home, camped and hiked in the woods of Northern Arizona, and summered along the coast of Southern California.

Nicole is a professional mixed media artist painting primarily figurative works that usually include a bird. Her scenes are filled with patterns, shifting plains and fractured light creating a magical realm to explore.  Dreamy surreal impressionism best describes her style; one that transports her viewer to a place of freedom; a place to be set free to dream.

She is currently working with private collectors, is scheduled to participate in an artist-in-residency program in Greece, September 2017, and is working on a culture representation series. Her art has been chosen for the Herberger Theater Center, Fall 2017.
